Deleting Markup List Items that Import as a Default

When I open a set of plans in Bluebeam, I get hundreds and many times thousands of items that automatically populate into the Markups List. I try to delete them but it won't allow this to happen. Does anyone know how to get rid of these or stop them from importing? They are mainly random labels, words or drawings throughout the print set.

Depending on how the pdf was created you can sometimes get a lot of text content showing up as markups. Look at the Author column and check for (and I forget the exact wording) AutoCAD SHX as the author. That is all the text data from notes, measurements, etc. coming across as markups. DON'T DELETE THAT STUFF!

What you want to do instead is FLATTEN the pdf to embed that content directly into it while also cleaning up the markups list.

Not sure if this is what you're seeing since the image you posted doesn't look like it. But it's been an issue for others in the past.
