Our company currently has a multi-step process for hyperlinking our production unit drawings to our shop drawing details and then unit drawings to our part drawings. Firstly, we open the unit drawings and detail sheets, set up batch link, which requires a linking option setup with "open files" and link settings to be whole words only and by "file name" to link to the unit drawings to the detail sheets. We then close the detail sheets, open the part drawings and run a separate linking process without the whole words setting checked so that the part numbers on the unit drawings link to the part drawing sheets without adding in another link over top of our linked detail call outs. I am wondering if anyone has any code or recommendations on how to consolidate this multi-step process into a simplified process or button to run all of those operations at once. Thanks in advance
