I have a set of plans that I want to run an overlay on. It's 30 pages and most of them are not consistent in how they were updated and the only accurate way to do it is to go into each page and individually do an overlay for a single page at a time between the two PDFs being overlaid.
I feel like we would benefit from the Overlay feature giving the option to spit out a single-page overlay of each page using the selected method (page align/auto align/manual align).
This would allow us to more quickly overlay files when they are revised in a way that the current overlay feature doesn't work well with.
Yes, best practice from design teams SHOULD be to keep all backgrounds in the same spot but a) "that's not their problem" and b) I can see many cases where they would need/want to move backgrounds from revision to revision.
