Love the search and filter Tools feature, but does it have to apply to the image search as well?

When running a visual search, I noticed that the "Apply Count Measurement" to results is filtered by your last search within the toolchest. I would prefer that this did not filter the same way my toolchest does when running the search. Many times I want my chest to stay filtered, but want to be able to apply counts that are not filtered out.
