I'm having trouble getting batch link to work on my plan sets because it won't recognize a lot of the text. I've run OCR and this hasn't helped at all.
Any tricks to get this to run properly?
There is no substitute for bad drawings.
Make sure your elevation callouts are being recognized as text, otherwise, there is no real good fix for this. If you are creating the drawings, make sure that you are using a True Type font when creating. It'll makes a HUGE difference.
Hello, I'm having the same problem. When we run the batch link tool (using the latest version of Revu 21), some links are added, while others are ignored. In the attached screen snip, the blue links are created properly, while the highlighted text was missed.
All of the text comes from the same legend in Revit, using the TrueType font Arial-Narrow. Is this just a bug?
It looks like you're missing the screen snip.
So, I've encountered a similar problem recently. Basically, I was trying export some tables to Excel and a lot of the generated information was wrong - 2's became 9's, 1's became l's, etc.. To get over this I selected and changed the type of font. After exporting again, everything worked as it should have done.
Yes, I did! Sorry
I have an associate that is using a pdf Form that we created for them to use. After he fills it out and saves it, the background of random pages turn from white to black.
When working with layers in Bluebeam, our estimating team typically uses the same template across all projects — about 15 main layers, each with multiple child layers. So far, we haven’t found a reliable way to transfer this full layer structure from one project to the next. We’ve tried saving the layers to a template file…
Our firm has implemented Bluebeam and we have found many benefits. One issue that we have run into is building a regulatory report including dozens of attachments combined into a single PDF results in our clients unable to E-sign in Adobe and generating error codes regarding embedded fonts and unrecognized content. Is…

Hi All, I slip sheeted revised pages into my plans but my bookmarks still point to the superseded pages. Is there a way to batch correct this? Thanks ahead, Ian
I created separate sets for my Arch, Struc, Civil, etc. drawings. It helps to have 2-3 open at once. They will open as a tab a the top of the window but only 1 Set is available at a time in the Sets window. Can I have more then one Set open and have is switch as I switch through the main window tabs?
Bonjour, est-ce normal que je n'aie pas accès à "Tool Chest" et "Annotation" lorsque je suis sur mon iPad. Il devient laborieux lorsque nous sommes en chantier, pour faire nos annotations. Merci
Hi all, We're trying to automate the creation of toolchest for all of our clients and we're in the process of generating them from Autocad to the .btx format. Was wondering if there's any documentation out there for the btx file format ?
I’ve noticed that in Revu 21, every page in the Thumbnails panel now shows “Scale: Not Set” if the PDF doesn’t have a defined drawing scale. In my case, I review and organize a lot of documents like submittals, wiring diagrams, proposals, and building maps, none of which use or need scales. The problem is that the “Scale:…
Does layers work with sets? I created a layer on one sheet, then tried adding that layer to another sheet, but it's not available to add. It only has the option to create new.
