Digital sign field setup in Word

Dear reader,

With the plugin Revit for Autodesk you are able to create signature fields prior to creating the PDF (see link https://support.bluebeam.com/online-help/revit2019/Content/Digital-Signature-Fields.htm ). This tool is incredibly useful when documents are created in a standardized way so that the user only has to sign the PDF at the given sign field.

Within our company (project based engineering) we use digital signatures a lot to make sure no modifications are made after signing the document. Most documents are made in Word and then transferred to PDF format. Unfortunately, the Bluebeam plugin for Word does not allow the same features as shown in the link above. Hence, making signature fields in Word is not possible. I think this would be very beneficial if this could be added, since we use same document template for every project.

Please let me know what your opinion is regarding this idea!
