Hello - Looking to find an expert who understands scripting and what scripts work best with Bluebeam. Any suggestions?
I believe @Doug McLean is well versed in scripts.
Thank you @Jes Stafford !
I'm not the strongest at it. The Scripts in Revu that I know are the very basic ones that you can find under the Help Menu in the Bluebeam Extreme Script Reference. If you're looking more for JavaScript, like you would use in stamps and Forms, then I can direct you to others who are WAY better than I am.
Unfortunately the scripting native to BB is very limited, as are their implementations of Javascript. To some degree I understand that this is a deliberate choice for InfoSEC. That being said there are a lot of options out there so if you want to reach out and share your desired functionality I might be able to help.
Thank you Nick.
I review drawings looking for errors. If I find an error, I color the bookmark RED. My ideal goal would be for the bookmark to automatically turn red if there is a comment.

You can create Layer Configurations to control the layers within a PDF but that must be done manually for each PDF currently. I would like a way to import and export these configurations. I have thousands of layers, so doing this manually is not feasible. Ideally, I would like a human readable / editable format (such as…
With the new Bluebeam Cloud app, many of my foreman have switched from the old Revu app to this, and have requested a sorting feature. Right now it's only showing their jobs in numberic/alphabetic order. When we label our jobs, they get the job number first. So the most recent jobs are at the very bottom of the list. If…
I’ve noticed that in Revu 21, every page in the Thumbnails panel now shows “Scale: Not Set” if the PDF doesn’t have a defined drawing scale. In my case, I review and organize a lot of documents like submittals, wiring diagrams, proposals, and building maps, none of which use or need scales. The problem is that the “Scale:…
It would be really helpful to be able to add layers AFTER a bluebeam session has been initiated. We use the layers to assign markups to particular users, which then allows them to filter their tasks.
I should be able to post a link here and have it take you to a Bluebeam session and a specific file within it. http:// (session URL) / file I should be able to link to a markup even as well. Why isn't this in Bluebeam yet? It's so frustrating that we (in multiple workplaces I've been at) have to say "hey folks we posted…
