Building toolsets in Bluebeam can be a tedious process but is very powerful with custom columns. What industry are you in? I'm in structural steel and we've built out some pretty powerful tools and workflows.
Depends on the Takeoff markup you are using, what Materials are you taking off?
Creating a Tool Set for Each item that needs counting.
Using Ctrl + Shift to Copy and Paste Helps, also Copy Multiple Helps.
Another option is Grouping Objects if Taking off Multiple different Material Types.
After Takeoff is Complete, using a CSV File Export to Excel and consolidate data…
I'm trying to find a quicker way to consolidate the BOM on a isometric drawing that list bolts, gaskets, and etc. I did build take-offs with custom columns. I tried to use excel to extract the data from a OCR PDF Sheet but it will take a lot of time to try to edit and produce formula
I'm in industrial. So, I see a lot of piping iso's, steel and civil drawings. I start building the custom columns and it's working better. My other question will be.
How much data I put in for specs on custom columns can it handle
Generally Speaking, the more you use Bluebeam the quicker and more efficient you'll naturally become at using it however a great place to start is understanding the toolbox functions. I'm in Roofing & Cladding and we have a number of different toolboxes for the various roofing & cladding build-ups we offer as a business. Understanding the full use of the take-off functions is also very beneficial.
Kann man ein verwendetes Markup mit hinterlegten Parametern auf einem Plan anwählen und dieses mit allen Parametern wiederverwenden, ohne dieses im Tool-Chest zu speichern oder als Standard festzulegen?
Hi, Wondering if anyone has had success/if it's possible to import plain text FDF files into Bluebeam Revu? All FDF files of markups that I've exported are in binary/encoded format, and hence are unable to be altered (e.g. the coordinated of the markups), which is what I'm trying to achieve. Any help would be greatly…

I've been making maps with…

A coworker just asked how to go full-screen on a PDF, and I showed him the "full screen and Presentation options. One issue that came up was that the shortcut for Presentation (ctrl+Enter) didn't work. Any ideas why?
I have a toolbox that is organized numerically by the markups label. Lately I have been having an issue where I will click on a markup and in addition to selecting it, it gets moved elsewhere within that same toolbox, sometimes by just a few spots, sometimes all the way to the top. This toolbox has many markups in it, and…
Am I able to transfer my account licensed for Revu 21 to a new PC? I'm retiring my old PC with a newer model but I want to know if there was anything special I needed to do to have my account license on the new PC. Windows if it makes a difference.
Hi folks, This question came in from a sales associate. Has anyone found a way for Bluebeam v 21 to sign the user when the desktop app is closed? It's not a native capability according to Bluebeam Support website but it kind of sounds like a script can be created for this. Thank you for looking. Vinnie
What's up community?! I am struggling with an efficient procedure to create bookmarks in bluebeam. I know how to create bookmarks and parent/child formatting. I want to know if it is possible to write a script or if a default method exists to have bluebeam create a parent bookmark such as electrical, mechanical, plumbing,…
