When creating a custom status, such as "I did this", I can change the comment outline color but not the background color. I am able to pick on the comment then individually change the highlight color, but the custom status should be able to change the highlight color when the status is changed. This would make the comments that are completed stand out. By incorporating the change into the custom status, it would simplify the process and prevent the user from having to do 2 or more steps.
This seem like an obvious ability that should be added to the abilities of custom status.
