Creating a Deficiency Report

We’re looking to create a deficiency report using Bluebeam and would appreciate any guidance (video or step-by-step manual) on the best way to set it up. In particular, we’d like the report to include the ability to:

• Tag specific rooms or locations
• Attach a photo of each deficiency
• Provide a description of the deficiency
• Note who is responsible for resolving it

And also how can I export it in to a PDF to send to trades.

Starting with a plan that has spaces enabled goes a long way to meeting your goals. The Bluebeam Revit Add in is where you can make this happen for Punchlist Plans. The rooms will be shaded blue. When you place an issue, Bluebeam will then automatically associate that markup with the specific room (space).

Then, add a custom column to your markups list for Punch List Text. Other columns if needed, such as trade, or assignment.

When you are done placing issues, you can then export a summary of the markups list, provided you are using this floor plan ONLY as a deficiencies list, or punch list. If you have a bunch of other markups, this could get cluttered.
