Combined Compare & Overlay

When comparing drawing sets that contain a large number of similar drawings, it would be beneficial to utilize the compare and overlay features simultaneously. The bubble would alert the user to the location of the difference, while the overlay allows them to quickly audit the difference(s) without navigating to another set of drawings to find the change or running things in split screen with screen sync on.

Yes! What a great idea!

It would be awesome if this could be selected and executed automatically, exactly as you've illustrated. Hopefully someday…but in the meantime, I'm actually going to try this out by manually exporting/importing the markups from the Compare set into the Overlay set, and then edit the properties of the clouds, just as you've done in your snapshot. Because, while the overlay by itself is extremely useful to spot changes, it is also very easy to overlook small subtle changes, such as the one you've shown. This combined functionality would be immensly helpful.
