Currently, hatches in Bluebeam appear to be locked to the grid, making it difficult to precisely control where a tiled pattern begins. This is especially problematic when creating a 2x2 ceiling grid for lighting layouts. No matter how I move the hatch, I cannot shift the pattern’s starting point, which prevents me from centering the grid properly within a room.
A potential solution would be to allow users to manually adjust the origin point of hatches—similar to how some CAD programs allow for pattern realignment. This would give greater flexibility when using hatches for layouts and ensure elements like ceiling grids can be accurately positioned.
Would love to hear if anyone has a workaround for this or if Bluebeam could consider adding this feature!
