Optimisation for the new arm based windows machines
I hope you're doing well. I'm reaching out because I have a couple of suggestions that I think could make Bluebeam even better.
First off, I've been really impressed with the new ARM-based Windows machines, especially those using the Snapdragon Elite X. They’re powerful, have great battery life—kind of like MacBooks in that regard. It got me thinking about how amazing it would be if Bluebeam was optimized for these devices.
ARM-based machines are definitely on the rise, and they offer a lot of benefits like better performance with lower power consumption. Imagine being able to use Bluebeam all day without having to worry about charging! Plus, with more people adopting these devices, it seems like a great opportunity for Bluebeam to lead the charge in innovation and expand its user base.
On a related note, I really miss having Bluebeam on my Mac. I remember when it used to be available, and it was fantastic. The Mac community is growing, especially among professionals in fields like design, architecture, and engineering. Bringing Bluebeam back to Mac would cater to a lot of users who are looking for reliable and powerful software.
Offering Bluebeam on both Windows and Mac would also make it easier for those of us who use both platforms. It would streamline our workflow and make collaboration much smoother. Plus, it would definitely set Bluebeam apart from the competition.
Thanks for taking the time to read this. I really believe that optimizing Bluebeam for ARM-based Windows machines and reintroducing it on Mac would be a game-changer. I’d love to hear your thoughts on this.
Kind Regards

Hi @Alan A. - I also wanted to add another customer to this list! I am anxiously awaiting an official announcement around Revu on ARM support so we can proceed with our next round of device refreshes! Thanks!!
Hi Team,
Bluebeam has assisted our business for many years and it is one of our main IT tools that we use on a regular bases.
We have been making the transition to Microsoft Surface Pros only to discover that the Microsoft Surface Pro 11 now use the ARM processor which Bluebeam currently does not offer support to.
Can you please advise when the software will be released that is compatible with Microsoft ARM devices as this is a vital tool we require.
Thank you
Hi Alan A,
We use Bluebeam in our business as well on a regular basis. I switched to Snapdragon Microsoft Surface Pro recently and Bluebeam works pretty slow with Snapdragon processor. Please advise if Bluebeam is still on track with bringing native support on ARM based processors in the fist half of this year.
Thank you.
I completely agree. I recently purchased a new Windows PC that is ARM-based, and unfortunately, I have lost Bluebeam for work. It’s incredibly frustrating that companies like Bluebeam consistently lag behind, despite their potential to lead the way. I thought they had plans to offer a web-based version when they discontinued support for Mac, but this never materialized. Moreover, the fact that they no longer support Mac is highly inconvenient. They already had the program, which required only occasional minor updates. Instead, they abruptly discontinued it. I am not stuck using adobe or Bluebeam on my iPad. I now warn everyone to proceed with this company with caution as your investment my hit a roadblock when it comes time to upgrade everyones equipment.
Hello @Alan A. checking back to see if there is any update on a release of Revu with Windows for ARM native support. Thank you!
