I am trying to solve the issue with the zoom level of Revu for iPad. The zoom level seems very limited compared to the Adobe app, other PDF apps, and even the standard viewer for One Drive app. Is there a setting I am missing?
I have already tried the following things suggested from Revu Tech Support:
As a test, can you try waiting 3-5 seconds between each zoom attempt or double-press to zoom in to see if goes in further? You could also try turning the iPad off and then on again to see if that helps.
If none of the above help, I wonder if deactivating Studio GO will help? This is a feature in the Revu for iPad app that was added to aid in the rendering speed of complex vector documents. Studio GO essentially takes a snapshot of the vector-based document and creates a rasterized version. In some cases this rasterized version will render faster than the vector-based version. However, a drawback to this is that the zoom level is limited and the rasterized content can appear blurry.
You can turn Studio GO off in the Revu for iPad preferences:
- Open Revu for iPad
- Tap the gear icon in the top-right corner to access Preferences
- Select Studio from the list on the left
- Slide the control to the left to disable Studio GO
If disabling Studio GO doesn't help, then I suggest that you visit our Product Suggestions page in order to share your feedback with the Product team. They are very receptive to customer feedback, and will use it to drive their future discussions. Any context you can provide to help them understand what you are trying to accomplish and what the impact of not having this is extremely helpful.
Thank you for your assistance with this.
