How do I leverage the AI features to have Bluebeam search through hundreds of PDF pages of plans to find out specifically the information I need to bid on a job, which in my case is square footage of concrete slab that calls for sealing/densifying?
Hi All, We are changing the company style guide and stepping though updating everything to match. I am wondering if it's possible to change/specify the font used when creating a batch summary in PDF format? A long shot I know! Thanks Elizabeth
About once a day, Revu 21 fails and puts gibberish in the display area. It happened with 21.4 and now it's happening with 21.5. It usually comes up when I have several documents open at once, but sometimes it's just 1-2 documents. Sometimes it resolves by exiting and restarting Revu, but sometimes it takes a full reboot.…
I have a project that needs to be split in 1/2. I already have all mark-up done in the project plans (about 20 pages). Is there a way to automatically divide al pages into phases equally, or do I have to manually divide them page by page? What is the easiest way to break up the project into 2 phases?
My company is heavily invested in the Microsoft Surface ecosystem, including the Surface Hub. One of these hubs pushes $30k, so these are serious investments. We do not want to have individual users log into BB on the hub creating a bunch of data bloat. The browser version of BB seems like a great solution, however I just…
Yesterday I updated Bluebeam to version 21.4.0. Since then, whenever I try to open a PDF document it will show the comments but the view pane is missing (see attached screenshot). It will show the document in full screen but I can't easily flip through the pages that way. Any ideas on how to remedy this?
When Bluebeam and AutoCAD are running together and one of these packages locks up or is running an intensive process the other package also locks up in unison. Such as when loading a large drawing file with many references. is there any way of disconnecting Bluebeam from AutoCAD so that it can be used while AutoCAD is busy.
specifically the spaces created when a user hits the enter button on a document before saving as a pdf.
Does anyone know of a way to check for duplicate pages within a document? Say a spec was accidentally added in twice in a very large file so it wouldn't be readily noticeable as having already been added.

Please add folders within sessions for document organization. This will make navigating to the documents within a session cleaner and easier as documents within a session can add up and be cumbersome to have to search through to find what the user is trying to open. This feature would be greatly appreciated by all. Thank…
Hi all, my name is Aily, and I'm the Manager of Customer Education at Bluebeam - nice to meet you! I want to learn how you prefer to train, onboard, or up-skill your internal employees on everything Bluebeam, so I can make sure we're allocating the right resources to the right kinds of training (aka help me help you!). If…
On the Bluebeam website, under "Resources" > "Need an older version of Revu?" there is only v20 and older. This needs new options, like v21.6. Currently the need for this is high, because v21.7 has a highly annoying "new feature" while drawing polylines, areas and contour and area measurement. Something goes visually wrong…
I just installed version 21.4 this morning on a second work machine, and encountered the common problem of Print to Bluebeam being broken during install. I resolved the problem using the following steps (Windows 11, 64 bit). I have admin privileges, so make sure you can make such changes before starting. I can't guarantee…
While I wait for the influx of new members from the PHX/NorCal bug webinar I thought I'd ask about your experience with making custom hatches and line styles in Bluebeam (the topic of the webinar). There were some great examples of custom hatches and lines that made a lot of sense for those users. One was a civil office…
If you've ever had to place a symbol on a drawing more than three times, you've probably wondered, "I wish I didn't have to keep clicking on the symbol every time I want to place it." I have great news for you 😀 The Reuse Tools option keeps that tool selected for placing as many instances of a symbol as you need! There are…
Did you know that double-clicking a Bluebeam Revu Profile (.bpx file) automatically opens Revu and imports the profile for you? This is the quickest and easiest way to have a User import a Profile. It is a very low impact for our non-technical friends and co-workers. 😅 It is much better than explaining how to click the…
I should be able to post a link here and have it take you to a Bluebeam session and a specific file within it. http:// (session URL) / file I should be able to link to a markup even as well. Why isn't this in Bluebeam yet? It's so frustrating that we (in multiple workplaces I've been at) have to say "hey folks we posted…
I would like another option for locking that allows for a shapes dimensions to be locked, but still be able to move the shape / sketch around. An example of this would be a toggle for "dimension lock" where I could trace the outline of a building and rotate / move it around a site or property without accidentally changing…
I have used BlueBeam Revu to create piping isometric drawings. However, this process takes a very long time and is painstaking because currently Revu only allows you to snap to 45° or 90°. If there was an option to turn on snapping to 15° increments, it would allow for much cleaner and faster creation/marking up of piping…
