Hi, everyone. It is there any way to change the color of a layer on a PDF?

I have a plan coming from AutoCAD, and all the layers are in black. I know I can change the color of a layer in AutoCAD and send to PDF, but how can I do it after on a PDF ?

The layer properties does not have an indication of color properties.

I don't have a .dwg with layers handy, but I believe this should work.
You want to be able to select all the elements in a Layer, the easiest way to do this is via the Markups List.
1. Go to the Markups List and make sure that the Layers Column is displayed (ticked)
2. Select the Filter option so that all Markup Columns can be filtered.
3. Go to the Layer columns and set the Filter to the Layer that you want to select.
4. Once all the elements in the Markup List are filtered to just the Layer you want - on your keyboard use 'ctrl+A' (all)
5. Once all the elements are selected - go to the Properties Access Panel and change to the preferred colour.

Let me know how you go - I may need to dig around for anAutoCAD file if that doesn't work.

It sounds like these are content layers, not markup layers. If you have access to the DWG's it's probably easier to change them in CAD and then recreate the PDF.

To do this in PDF you'd have to right-click and export the layer(s) to a new page and save it/them as a separate file(s).

You could then use the Overlay pages feature to create a layered PDF with layers colorized as you want. Or you could delete and add the layers back and choose a color then. Either way it's quite a few steps.

Thank you for your answer. I understand it is a little complicated workaround, but for future Bluebeam releases it would be good to have more control over the layers than visibility.

Another option that is perhaps easier.
1. Go to the layers panel and toggle on just the layer you want to change the color
2. Go to Document and Color Processing
3. Select the source color(s) you want to change and what to change them to
4. Repeat for any other layers you wish

In the screenshot below I'm only changing the layer I currently have active, despite having 2 layers on the drawing

The easier option didn't work for me. I turned off all layers except a "test" one by selecting all and unchecking "Show Layer." Once I showed the layers again, the color had been changed for everything.

I'm also curious if there's any way to color process images. It doesn't happen very often, but sometimes I paste in a screenshot from my computer (email, datasheet, etc.) so I can't use the "snapshot" command. In these cases, I'd still like to be able to change the text to red for markups but even if I flatten the image and then run color processing there is no change.

Yes you can colour process images. There is a Process Images in a few of the drop down options.

Save before Checking In?

Can I filter sessions by my status?
