Setting for Hatch folder location

I had a user create a custom profile in Revu. When he is in that profile, he has no hatch patterns. We thought it was something he did that we needed to fix, so I contacted Support. Support said that is normal for new profiles and you have to go into the hatch pattern settings and import the default hatch patterns file into the new profile. That seems dumb to me. Either a new profile should automatically maintain the default hatch patterns, or there should be a Hatch Patterns folder path setting that you can set and/or change if you want to.
