Add a setting to turn off automatic caching/loading of documents in sessions

As noted in the title - I'd like to see the option to turn off automatic loading or caching of documents in a session. Sometimes when joining a large multidisciplinary review session or other session with many large files, they take a long time to load. Usually I only need one or two of the documents for my work. I'd like to be able to manually select which ones to load rather than have them all automatically load upon entering the session.
