Why can't we modify arcs using three points – start, middle, and end? This would make creating and adjusting arcs much easier and more efficient.

I'm not sure how this works. Does the stuff will tell if this will be implemented or rejected? The software is very powerful and useful. I use it every day of the week.

A similar approach, that might be easier for the programmers to implement might be to just lock the two tangent definition points together. A slightly different approach but it would give you the same control over the middle part of the curve. This is how curves are defined in civil engineering, especially horizontal and vertical curves for roadways and tracks. Just lock together the points circled in blue:
