Custom tools possible to load created in CAD software with possibility to edit line and
background. Currently we need to create tools from standard tools. which makes creation of some unregular shapes very difficult.

Can we have a public tools library that we possibly can download / upload?

This might be too much of the ask but creating your own tools would be amazing. you could simply be loaded from AutoCAD or MicroStation.

  • Yes RaD, I would have saved hours of my life if this was possible.
What I have done plenty of times is print from my authoring software and trace the markups in Bluebeam to then create the content that I want. TBH, I feel that even if I could import CAD content, I would still need to edit it to the point that at times it would be easier to start from scratch.

Here are some tips for content creation (if you haven't already created it).
Get all your Markups onto one PDF File, one or many pages. This will be the basis of your full library. This makes it extremely easy to select many markups and, change colours, add Layers, edit line thickness and even add to your Tool Chest. Then if ever your computer was broken, you have your full library saved outside of your local C drive to quickly re-establish.
Bonus Tip, export Tool Sets and Import them onto your library to easily re-install or share with other people.
Or go as far as Export a Profile and Import that onto your library PDF.

Here is an example I created.
