Truss measurement format

While reviewing a truss submittal, I realized it would be much easier if we could use a dimension string following the same format as the truss drawings. Truss drawings use a three-part format that translates to feet-inches-16th of an inch (see below example).
I would love to be able to use this format when calibrating the page scale (especially when each page is a slightly different scale) and to dimension my own markups in the same format.
