Measure the Distance from the last Count, While Counting
So it would be really awesome if it would tell you the distance from the last count you placed. For example… I estimate fire sprinkler heads. I use the count function for my head placement, to get the total number of heads required for a project. There are NFPA codes though that state how for apart or close a head is allowed to be to another head.
So after I place my first head on the sheet, when I move the cursor to place my second one, if it had a line (or even just the number) that showed the distance my cursor is from the previous count… I could then easily drop heads every 14 feet without having to go back and measure.
I know there's a multiply function, that I use quite often, but some situations (curved buildings or oddly shaped rooms…) require me to use the measuring tool, then go to my count, and back and forth between the two tools.
Having the option to leave the measurement number on the drawing would be cool, but not really required (it may get confusing having all that info displayed, so I think the default setting shouldn't show the distance after placing a count).
