Issues finding templates

Hello, I have a few foremen that are telling me that they cannot find their template in BB so they can do pick offs using their iPads. Has anyone else come into this problem? We have a company shared Dropbox folder that has all the BB toolsets listed.

I'm new to this application and can use any and all help.

Thank you

    Hi @Leanne Hauser.

There are lots of posts on here about BB limitations for iPad users. It is cloud only at this point. No plans on further support for iPad. …reason I switched to a Surface years ago.

Hi @Leanne Hauser and @Jes Stafford,

Thank you for the mention! Happy to help.

Leanne, it sounds like your foremen want to access templates to create new files in the field, then open and markup these files with their toolsets. This is possible with Revu for iPad today, but I recommend switching to Bluebeam Cloud iOS for access to our latest technology and ongoing updates.

    Important Notes About Bluebeam Cloud

    1. Workspaces we support today: Studio Sessions and Studio Projects (read-only)
Bluebeam Cloud mobile apps currently support creating markups only in Studio Sessions. Files must first be created in the office using Bluebeam Revu and placed into a Studio Session. This ensures foremen can access and collaborate on these files in the field.
    2. Toolsets Are Coming Soon
Toolset functionality is on the roadmap for later this year. In the meantime, general markup tools are available in Studio Sessions and sync in real-time for collaboration between field and office teams.

    Upcoming features in 2025

Bluebeam Cloud iOS will add the following capabilities to enhance field workflows:

    • Save Revisions to Studio Projects: Check out PDFs from a Studio Project, make markups, and check them back in.
    • Work with PDFs Stored On-Device: Open, markup, and save PDFs from your device, including files from Dropbox.
    • Access Toolsets: Apply toolsets created in Revu directly from the mobile app.

Our ultimate goal is to enable foremen to complete work entirely from the field, eliminating the need to return to their desks for final edits. These updates will streamline workflows for greater efficiency in the office and on job sites.

Please let me know if you have any other questions, or feel free to reach out to support@bluebeam.com for assistance with setup.
