Custom Columns Copy/Paste or Drag down data

I am in the HVAC industry doing test and balance of commercial HVAC systems. We mark up prints with custom tools, number diffusers in the order we read them. We input the into custom columns the following;

Room number and name (text input)

Diffuser number. (text input)

CFM value. (number value)

Diffuser size. (Choice with manual entry checked)

Diffuser type. (Choice with manual entry checked)

Instrument used. (Choice with manual entry checked)

In searching online I have not found a way to copy and paste like numbers or items. I do not need them to add anything to the drawing. I am only pulling the data visually and manually entering.

Once I have the data in a layer, I continue making layers based on the piece of equipment.

From there I export to Csv my data separated by each layer and import it into my report software which in turn creates all my forms in my report.

I am looking for a way to just copy and paste data within the custom columns or a drag down similar to how excel does.

Example, I have a device. It has 3 diffusers with the same CFM, same size, same room, etc all in a single layer. Currently I have to enter each data. Would be nice to input the data for one and copy it all to the others by columns.

See my example markup and columns.

Any thoughts or am I missing something already in place? Anything I can do to improve our time in the field doing layout would be great! We have over 500 technicians in the field so time saving is a high priority. Thanks in advance!

    @JP, I don't believe Bluebeam has the ability to "drag down" a column like Excel. It would be fantastic if the Revu developers could implement that feature!

    In the meantime, I have a workaround that I find very helpful. You can select all the items that need the same CFM value (this can be done directly from the markups list). Once selected, simply enter the CFM value in the properties panel.

    Check out the GIF below, where I applied this method for Watts.

  • @JP, I think there is no option for that if blue beam includes this one in future its great one.
