How to unlock comments on a markup?

I am trying to edit a comment made on a markup but I am unable to change anything. The markup is not locked. In the attached images are the 3 methods Ive tried.

Ah, that's the problem. You can't edit other people's markups. It's a common issue brought up here in the community. Depending on your workflow, you can add a reply and/or change the status, or add a new comment with the correction. You can also tell the author to fix it themselves but that's not always the most diplomatic approach. 😉

@Luke Shiras Thanks! Do you know of another way I could add a comment or note to the markup that would appear in the markup editor? Or am i unable to edit anything since I am not the author?
