How to edit file on BlueBeam Studio Session?

I'm searching how to insert a new sheet into a file in a Studio Session, without having to download it and then upload it again, because when I do it, all the markups of all the collaborators get blocked, and nobody can edit them again.

I need to know how to insert a new sheet into the files located in BlueBeam Studio Session without downloading the files to keep the markups active for each user to manage.

It can't be done. Once you start a session, you can not make certain changes. These include adding sheets, adding markup statuses, making labels or bookmarks, and creating layers.

I second the need for a complete functionality in studio for team collaboration. When multiple people are working on 1 project, it is very inefficient to continue to download and re upload the file. The whole purpose of collaboration together is to work off of one file together. This should allow for layer, bookmark, and/or page management (adding/deleting/modifications/etc.). In the studio settings these options could very easily be restricted if required depending on the individual needs. The studio function is a great start but not fully effective. After little research, I see several others are interested in this as well, so there is a need for this.

Moved this over to Product Ideas for voting.

  • Marco, I appreciate it, we will be hoping for a good solution from the BlueBeam team.

  • At a minimum, Sessions should allow for Slip Sheeting so that document pages can be revised without having to do the whole workflow of copying markups from old documents outside of the Session to new documents to then be brought back into a Session.

  • I just posted the same question. THis is a feature that has been requested over and over from our customers.
