Navigation Bars (Left - Middle - Right)

First and foremost, I love Bulebeam Revu and am very impressed with this product.

I hope that the software developers not only read my suggestion, but take steps to implement my idea.

I have customized my Toolbars and assigned many tools to the Navigation Bars (Left - Middle - Right). These tools are very important to me.

When I have no panes opened on left (Bookmarks, Thumbnails, Layers, etc.) and right (Properties, Search, Links, etc.), I have ALL of my tools visible. In the first image below, all of the Navigation Bar tools are visible.

When I have a left pane open (say Thumbnails) and right pane open (say Search) as shown in second image below, then number of Navigation Bar tools shown at bottom get truncated by the opened left and right panes. I no longer have access to the tools I use most often to navigate around my documents.

In many instances, there is nothing in the bottom of the left or right panes. For example, in the second image below, there is no "Search" information at the bottom of the right pane (it is just blank). Since there is no information in the bottom of the left or right panes, wouldn't it be better if the Navigation Bar tools could extend into the bottom of the left or right panes?

My suggestion is to allow the Navigation Bar tools to extend into the left and right panes when they are open. The Navigation Bar should run the full width of the bottom of the window to all access to all tools assigned to this bar.

I would really appreciate a response to this suggestion.

    Hi Jim,

    Thanks for the post. There is a potential solution which is to place customized toolbars along the bottom ribbon of the interface. This bottom ribbon extents the entire width of the application, below the side panels. In fact, you can even stack multiple rows. Here's an example of a single row…
