Tip: Use Temporary Dimensions

Do you enjoy using the measure tool in Revit and wish Bluebeam had the same ability? Well, you're in luck, because it does.
After selecting any measurement tool, expand the Measurements pulldown and uncheck “Make Annotations from Measurements”.
Now when you measure something, it will be temporary and not leave a mark. Just keep in mind that you have to set the page scale first.

Being an x-Revit user for over a decade, I get what you mean. I find clients using Revu need to dimension to check and may dimension that area again, so I setup a ToolSet with QA Dimensions that are on a Layer that does not print and can be easily turned off/back on for future QA checks.
But I will add a new dimension to what you posted to my ToolSet - nice work2
