Re: 📢 What's New: Revu 21.6 (Updated)
The fixes seem to have done the trick as far as I can tell. Thanks for keeping us in the loop!
Re: ✴️ Feature Highlight: Dimmer
For service company drawings I will often change the original colours to something very pale as the original linework is often so dark and thick that it is impossible to see your markups over them. Dimming becomes unviable if you have several different services all within a 2m wide footpath as you still need to use the colours to make sure you're measuring the correct item.
Re: ✴️ Feature Highlight: Dimmer
The Dimmer tool is also helpful when you're marking up a drawing that already has a lot of color. I'll often see mechanical and electrical drawings that use color to differentiate between various systems. Dimming the color content so that color markups stand out makes it easier to navigate.
Re: Font size since latest update
I'm right there with you @Vince Fitter! The majority of my markup tools are customized with custom column values for my workflows. I'm a big fan of building a tool out completely 1 time and using the benefit of that invested time over and over again.
Re: Are folks using Bluebeam to create dashboard for various project links/information?
Oh yes, I made a sort of user's guide dashboard for my BB Project where we are hosting our conformed sets. It's been a big hit and a huge time saver. Those links provided above should give you all you need to know.
Re: 📢 What's New: Revu 21.6 (Updated)
YES!!!! I Love it.. After I posted the comment i did uncover that gem on adding markups to the image. BTW your friend Darrell D. says hi. I was just on the phone with him. And this feature alone of marking on the images will be helping him tremendously in his site inspections… :-)
Re: 📢 What's New: Revu 21.6 (Updated)
Hi @Rick Kremer ,
Good to see you on the thread; I hope all is well.
After a photo is "Captured" to a markup, you should see a pencil icon on the left-hand side. As a note, markups are not supported on 360 images or videos.
Re: Instrument Tag Export from P&ID into excel
This sounds like a request to export your markups. If you filter your makrup list for just your desired markups (this is easier if your markups have something descriptive in the subject field) then use markup>export
In this example I have two markups with text. the first one has text on three lines (carriage returns) and the second has a single line. The markup export will drop the comment field into excel. from there you can trim and polish your text as you need.
If you are asking to export exisitng content on the drawing, this is something that can be done quickly from CAD. You can likely set up something in Bluebeam to grab the existing content info but the reliability will be lower. Three lines of text in a bubble may not export together as the text layout in a PDF is not the same as the dwg file.
Re: Create page label from first # of characters of bookmark
There are some options when you combine inside Bluebeam, but why isn't this in the stapler? Also, the pages and abilities to set range in the stapler would be nice. Or even just a report or count of pages in the combine via the stapler dialog.

Re: Offset Tool
There isn't but you can do something with custom line styles to produce profile lines to work to……
