Re: PDF Graphical issues with markups/snapshots
I know of 2 computers in our office that are having the same issue. All drivers are up-to-date on both computers, and the latest Windows updates are also installed on both. One computer is running Windows 10 and the other is Windows 11. Both are Dell Precisions (5820 & 3680), and both use a NVIDIA graphics card (Quadro RTX 4000 & RTX 2000ada). We have about 80 Bluebeam users and currently only 2 have reported this issue. The two computer models that are experiencing the issue are not unique in our environment; many others in our firm are using Bluebeam on the same models without an issue. Interestly, both users experiencing the issue are in our Civil department; no issues have been reported from our Structural, MEP, or Architectural departments. So, my best guess at this point is the issue stems from some software that is unique to our Civil department.
Re: Allow Admins to Reassign Session Host/Ownership
This one has come up before. Def problematic during changes in personnel. UPVOTED.
Re: Multiple Signatures
On the projects where we have dealt with something of that nature, we create signature field templates and gathered signatures using Consigno software by Notarius. I wish Bluebeam had an equivalent capability.
Re: Multiple Signatures
Isn't that how Batch > Sign & Seal works? (need Revu Complete). Also helps to increase Preferences > Tools > Signature > Password Timeout.
Re: ✴️ Feature Highlight: Erase Content Tool
The Erase tool is so useful. It's hard to understand why there isn't a shortcut key assigned to it by default. I added a user defined shortcut using 'Y'. I would also like the cursor to turn into a white-out tape dispenser when it is active…
Re: Bluebeam and Procore
@Vincent ProCore does indeed make an integration with Bluebeam. As of today, it lists as "Coming ****" on our Integrations Site, but that is just because they are just completing their upgrade from our old API endpoints to our new, easier to use API endpoints.
If you check out the ProCore website, it shows that their Bluebeam integration is available, but in Beta (because of the switch to our new endpoints).
Anyhow…. long story short: There is an integration that lets you push your drawings/documents from Procore into Bluebeam Studio for markups and communication and then it round trips your documents back into ProCore when you're done. All you need to do is reach out to ProCore to get the details!
Re: Word format drawing
Seems like this is a problem with original file format. If the person that sent it inserted the drawing in Word, it sounds like it was compressed and converted from vector to raster processing, thus the image quality issues.
Could they send the original data that they inserted?
Once you receive a file that has been reduced, I do not believe Bluebeam can un-reduce it and restore the original quality/resolution.
Re: Creating a Deficiency Report
Starting with a plan that has spaces enabled goes a long way to meeting your goals. The Bluebeam Revit Add in is where you can make this happen for Punchlist Plans. The rooms will be shaded blue. When you place an issue, Bluebeam will then automatically associate that markup with the specific room (space).
Then, add a custom column to your markups list for Punch List Text. Other columns if needed, such as trade, or assignment.
When you are done placing issues, you can then export a summary of the markups list, provided you are using this floor plan ONLY as a deficiencies list, or punch list. If you have a bunch of other markups, this could get cluttered.
