About Stitching

When you're working with large construction drawings split across multiple sheets, use the Stitching feature to automatically combine your drawings into one continuous view.

Before you begin, the sheets you want to combine need to be in the same document. If you have one sheet in one document that you want to stitch to a sheet in another document, combine those into one document before getting started.

Saving & Editng

Can I save stitched drawings?

Yes! The stitched result is a document like any other that can be saved.

Can I edit a stitched drawing?

The resulting stitched drawing is a PDF like any other.

The stitched spaces are snapshots that can be moved/adjust and markups can be placed, etc. However,

Are there size limitations?

200x200 is the physical limit of page sizes for PDF.

Users will notice that if they start to get towards the upper limits of that size, the drawings will start to scale down to fit on a 200x200 sheet.

Revision Questions

What happens when sheets are revised? Do markups carry over?

Users can choose to include the current markups on the stitched drawing or not (this is a selection in the panel) - but it is a one-time snapshot of what the markups are at the time of stitching.

It is not a back-and-forth syncing of the markups after the drawing is stitched.

Does stitching update the original sheets?

No, stitching does not update original sheets.
