Hi Bluebeamers,
We're excited to share that the Bluebeam Geospatial PDF Alpha Test is now open for applicants!
As an Alpha participant, you’ll get early access to new geospatial capabilities in Revu, including recognizing geospatial PDFs, georeferencing drawings to real-world coordinates, previewing your drawing against a map, and deriving scale and markup location from geospatial data. Help us evaluate whether this solves a meaningful problem in your workflow before it evolves further.
Who this is for: We are looking for customers who work with drawings or plans tied to real-world geographic locations: in AEC, infrastructure, transportation, utilities, civil engineering, surveying, or similar workflows. You don’t need to be a GIS expert: we want a mix of GIS familiarity levels, from GIS/survey specialists to project managers, project engineers, document controllers, estimators, reviewers, superintendents, and field staff who simply consume spatial information as part of their work.
What you’ll need:
- A current Revu license
- A Windows environment
- Experience with at least one of: GIS/mapping data, ArcGIS/Esri/QGIS or similar tools, geospatial PDFs, survey/control points, latitude-longitude or Northing/Easting coordinates, coordinate systems/CRS/EPSG codes, or civil/site/transportation plans tied to real-world locations
- Access to real-world geospatial PDFs or geographically relevant project drawings is highly desirable, but not required
How to Sign Up:
The Bluebeam Geospatial PDF Alpha project is open to anyone with an active Core, Complete, or Max Revu 21 license. All you need is your Bluebeam ID (BBID). Don't have a BBID? Create one here
