That’s exactly what Task Link is designed for.
🤔 What is Task Link?
Task Link connects Bluebeam Revu with GoCanvas.
You can take a markup on your PDF, create a task from it, assign that task to your field team, and then track the resulting submission all connected back to the markup.
Drawing → Markup → Task → Field Team → Submission
Simple example
Imagine you're reviewing an architectural drawing and notice:
“Door hardware needs to be checked.”
Instead of:
❌ Sending a separate email
❌ Creating a separate task manually
❌ Explaining the location again
You can:
1️⃣ Place a markup on the exact location
2️⃣ Right-click the markup
3️⃣ Select Task Link → Create Dispatch
4️⃣ Choose your GoCanvas form
5️⃣ Assign it to the field team
6️⃣ The field team completes the task
7️⃣ The completed submission can be linked back to the markup
So when you come back to the drawing, the task and field information are connected to the exact location where the issue was identified.

⚠️ One important thing
Task Link was introduced in Revu 21.8 and is a Bluebeam + GoCanvas integration.
You need Revu 21.8 or later, a Bluebeam plan, and an active GoCanvas subscription to use Task Link. Bluebeam says Task Link is available across its plan levels.
So this isn't just another markup tool.
