Tool: "Disable Line Weights"

Ever had a drawing where every line looks like it’s fighting for attention❓😂

As an estimator, I’ve faced this many times during takeoff especially with dense structural drawings. When walls, dimensions, grids and details become visually heavy, Disable Line Weights can make the drawing much easier to read and measure.

It doesn’t change the PDF. It simply displays the lines without their original thickness, helping you identify geometry more clearly. A tiny feature, but during a messy takeoff… Less visual noise = fewer mistakes. That’s why it’s underrated.

I work with line weights disabled by default. It allows me to see clean sharp lines and snap to more accurate points. Accuracy is paramount when estimating. Its an excellent feature.
