Always getting a blank page when trying to open IFC or U3D files

Question

When trying to open IFC or U3D files I am always getting a blank page.

I am using a Bluebeam REVU Complete Version and already tried to open several diferent files.

Any ideas?

Hey Tomás, I’d first check whether the IFC/U3D file is actually supported for direct opening in your Revu version. Revu is primarily a PDF workflow, so these 3D files generally need to be embedded into a PDF rather than opened like a normal PDF.

What I usually recommend is to create/export a PDF with the 3D model embedded, then open that PDF in Revu. If the PDF still shows a blank page, I’d check the 3D model settings and try another IFC/U3D file to rule out a file-specific issue.Also make sure you’re running the latest available Revu update for your version.If you can share the exact Revu version and how the IFC/U3D files were created/exported, I can narrow down the issue further.
