how to change import to look for .pat file, not .bhx file

So the UChapter2 Hatch Patterns file does not include 'herring bone'. I've downloaded a few .pat files recommended by Bluebeam. However, no matter what instructions I follow, the import keeps looking for a .bhx file and IDK how to correct that. Please help.

Hi Joseph,

The section called Import an AutoCAD Pattern (.pat) file on the Custom Hatch Patterns Support Page should provide additional help.

On a PDF, create a rectangle markup. Go into Manage Hatch. Add a new set or Modify to pull up the Hatch Pattern Editor.

Import the .pat file.

You can close the PDF and use the new hatch from your dropdown.
