With Bluebeam Revu 21, unfortunately no—the Markups List cannot be undocked into a separate floating window and moved to another monitor. It's locked to the Revu application window and can only be docked within that window (bottom, left, right, etc.).
Best workaround for a dual-monitor QA/QC setup
Since you're doing multidisciplinary reviews:
- Open two Revu windows (
File → New Window or launch a second instance). - Put your drawing set on Monitor 1.
- Put reference documents, specs, review comments, Studio Session, or comparison sheets on Monitor 2.
- Keep the Markups List docked at the bottom of the primary window.
Another option: Open the Markups List in Summary mode
If your goal is to see markups on a second monitor:
- In the Markups List, click Summary.
- Generate a CSV, PDF, or XML summary.
- Open that summary on Monitor 2 while reviewing drawings on Monitor 1.
For large QA/QC reviews
A setup I've seen work well for discipline coordination:
- Monitor 1: Drawing (full screen).
- Monitor 2: A second Revu window showing a live sheet comparison, reference discipline sheet, Studio Session, or design checklist.
- Bottom Dock: Markups List filtered by Status (Open, Design Review, Closed, etc.).
One thing many users miss: you can increase the height of the Markups List to nearly half the screen and save that arrangement in a custom Profile (e.g., "Multidiscipline QAQC"). That often provides almost as much visibility as having it on a separate monitor.
Bluebeam users have been requesting a truly detachable Markups List for years, but as of Revu 21 it still isn't available.
