Virtual Desktops

Question

Hi all,

I have not been able to find a way to open a PDF in a new instance of Bluebeam Revu x64 Complete when on a virtual desktop.  When I try to open a PDF it brings me back to desktop 1 and opens in my existing instance.

Is there a setting I am missing?

I can make Bluebeam show on all desktops, but that defeats the purpose of using virtual desktops to seperate projects.

Yes, this works as you describe.  However, with BB open, when you switch to a different desktop, you cannot directly open a PDF by double clicking it.  You will be taken back to the original instance of BB in the first desktop (or wherever the original is.)  This is true even if you stay on the same desktop and open a second instance.

Why have the ability to open a second instance, if you cannot double click a file and open in it?

With one BB file open, I right click my BB icon in the task bar and select BB, third from the bottom shown below. This opens a second instance. I also can double click my BB icon on my desktop to open another instance.

Pinning a folder would help I think.  I cannot seem to Pin a Folder that does not have a PDF in the root. Certainly a quicker way to get to the open menu in the folder you pin!!
