With the addition of (finally) a Canadian Studio server, I was wondering if there was a way to migrate all my projects that had been previously stored in the US Server over to the Canadian one?
Hello Doug, I feel your pain and did ask a similar question regarding sessions which is part of the Studio platform. Unfortunately the response was NO > "Due to the fact these servers (US and Canada) are entirely separate and we have our own governance/security policies in place, there is no automatic migration process available. We’ve gone through this situation when we released the other non-US servers as well. We know it’s not ideal; we’d offer a back-end solution if we could" This make sense as it would be a security issue. We average approximately 200 ongoing session, and are in the process of closing out the current sessions and opening all new one on the Canadian Server. The next step will be to set up the Studio Project which I'm trying to find out how to link it to our ProjectWise folders, nothing is simple :-)
Not directly. You'll need to download everything from the US Studio Project and upload it to a new Project on the Canadian server. Would be great if Bluebeam adds a one-click migration option in the future.
