Restored functionality to "Add Message" when creating a session

We have been using the "Add Message" function for well over a year to communicate session expiration dates; it does not seem that the invitees can see the expiration date, only the session creator. Suggest restoring the function to allow messages to be added to the invitation in the future. Understand this was disabled on 6/15/26. (Alternatively, provide invitees a location that they can see session expiration date and time).

Hi Chris,

I agree. The invitation should clearly display the session expiration date and time for all invitees, not just the session owner. Even a simple banner or countdown inside the Session would help prevent missed deadlines and reduce unnecessary follow-up emails. That would be a small change with a big usability impact.

We also use the 'Add Message' to communicate Comment Due Dates since session expirations don't fit our workflow. However, we also include how to get help reviewing since we can have a mix of seasoned and new folks reviewing and sometimes project specific info needed to complete the review.

The invitation is the entry point to session collaboration but effective collaboration only works if the all the collaborators are on the same page.

PLEASE BRING BACK THE ADD MESSAGE!

or at least remove it from the invite window, since you aren't delivering it!
