Decimal Feet

I am new to Revu, but well experienced with Acrobat. As a Civil Eng, all our work is in decimal feet. I searched the Community and see several previous discussions, but none seem to work for me on Revu 21. I want to make decimal feet with no dimesion label as my default setting for all measurements.

I'll change it for a measurement, and then right click that measurement and click Set as Default, but the very next measurement returns to ft in with a label.

Maybe go to properties panel and set as default there. Also, if you are looking at the result of a formula column, if your formula references one of the built in columns (Depth, ect.) that may throw it off. If you create custom columns for Height, depth, width and slope and only use those in your formulas and not the built in ones, you can eliminate units from the results and some of the quirks that follow.

That's strange, it seems to really prefer ft-in.

A workaround would be to set up the measurement tools like you want them, add them from the drawing to a tool chest, and put each in properties mode. Then you can use your tool chest instead of the measurements toolbar. You can even pin the toolchest to a toolbar although it will be a fold-out rather then a series of buttons.

you shouldn't be using the tools from the toolbars.
Edit your tool to the way you want it, and then save to a Custom Toolchest.

When you want to reuse that tool, simply grab it from the toolchest and all the attributes will be there for you
