Hello community, I am new to using this program as well as doing this job. I am a career changer from education to this. I am pretty tech savvy but used ChatGPT to support in learning the few things I have learned in Bluebeam. I want to do the best I can in my new role. Sorry it's long :(
- I created a tool chest but think it's a bit over the edge potentially. I also created the doors. Before I saved the doors in the tool chest my computer went to sleep and I lost all of the door tools. However, the symbols still showed up on my drawing. I am praying I got all of them back in the tool chest. Do I have to start all over to see if I get everything marked (Since it was on the drawing not on the count until I added it back to the tool chest, or does it automatically update once I add one to the tool chest?
2. Can anyone direct me to different images to build my toolbox and should I just put tools in my toolbox that are most used sizes for doors, and windows?
3. When I labeled the rooms by drawing spaces the things I put in them showed up on the materials list below. I don't see the outline though, and the color inside is very light to where I can't see it either. I don't know what I am doing wrong. When I attended a webinar, she showed us dynamic fill which seems like it would take less time versus tracing a room and hoping I get it right. This feature also did the area and perimeter. She showed up baseboards, but I have to go back and look at how to do that again.
I just want to work efficiently as well as not use a lot of time creating spaces and markups for everything. Is there a way that will help me not take hours to do this but be accurate? **I know I will get faster with time but I don't want to do redundant things.
