Can't Edit Form Field Order After Flattening with Form Field Exemption

I flattened several documents, after unchecking the Flatten Form Field option, and now I can't edit the order of my Form Fields in the form panel. I can still move the Form Fields around on the document, but their order in the panel is now locked.

Is anyone else familiar with this issue? If so, do you know of a solution?

Hi @mchiappi,

You may have already tried this, but is it possible the "Tabs Order"has been changed?
At the top of the panel click the down arrow next to "Forms"select Örder Tabs Unspecified". That should allow you to change the order.

Hi, I just tried to untick this so I can manual sort the order but it will not let me. Do you know why?

Hi @Sussan,

I just reread my post it may not have been clear, you want to have the "Forms" select "Order Tabs Unspecified" ticked. The other issue may be that the document has security or a signature on it?

That fixed my issue!

Not sure how the selection changed after flattening the document, but at least it's a simple fix.
