Review the active Bluebeam Revu PDF for ADA (Americans with Disabilities Act) accessibility code compliance and add markups flagging potential violations. Use whenever the user says "ADA Compliance Check", "check ADA compliance", "review for ADA issues", "audit ADA accessibility", or any equivalent request to review architectural or construction drawings against the 2010 ADA Standards for Accessible Design. Identifies non-compliance in restrooms, elevators, ramps, stairs, doors, accessible routes, fixture mounting heights, reach ranges, turning spaces, signage, and clear floor space requirements. Always flag issues directly on the drawings with red highlights and ADA section citations in the comment.
ADA Compliance Check
Overview
Audit the active Bluebeam Revu PDF for compliance with the 2010 ADA Standards for Accessible Design. The skill identifies ADA-relevant sheets, extracts dimensional callouts and keynote definitions, cross-references each against the ADA reference table in this document, and adds markups directly on the drawings flagging non-compliant items with the appropriate ADA section citation.
Findings are categorized into three severities, each with a distinct markup color so the issues sort cleanly in the Markups List:
Severity | Color | When to use |
|---|
Non-Compliant | #FF0000 (red)
| Dimension or condition explicitly violates a numeric ADA requirement |
Verify | #FFA500 (orange)
| Likely-compliant but the drawing doesn't show enough detail to confirm; or borderline at a minimum/maximum |
Documentation Gap | #FFFF00 (yellow)
| Missing referenced sheet, unlabeled door, or other documentation defect that prevents ADA verification |
