Set Default Color for All Annotation at Once

I wish there was an option to set a default color/font/size to apply to all types on annotation e.g. dimensions, rev clouds, arrows, text boxes.

I realize that you can set defaults for each annotation tool, but I would like the option to set a given size and color across all tools. So the style settings I saved for the text box could also apply to the arrow and rev cloud text automatically.

Have you saved the rev clouds, text boxes, etc. to your Tool Chests once you've got them how you want them?

@NC_GD26, I hear you. There is no way to set a single default for all items at once. There are some preset defaults, but I assume you want to change them.

Aside from that, tool chests are probably the best way around this, as @Vince French mentioned . They let you create multiple presets of the same annotation, each set up for different scenarios.

You can also set defaults for each item individually. If you do this one by one, all of your annotations will follow the defaults you choose. To do this, just select the markup you want to set as the default, righty click and select "Set As Default".

That said, a single default text size will not work for every drawing. Drawing scale will still affect how the text appears.
