It would be helpful to have an option to duplicate a PDF tab without needing to split or detach the document. Many users at our company are transitioning from another PDF software and are used to duplicating tabs so they can maximize a single monitor while keeping specific pages isolated for review. This functionality would make that transition much smoother.
Agreed. It should be possible, much like Excel's 'New Window' function has a numerical after the file name to indicate that it is part of an open document.
As for it potentially being confusing, remember, Bluebeam can open two identically named documents from different locations anyway, so this is no different. Perhaps they could be highlighted as a colour, as if they were a group. And maybe when one was selected, another could also be highlighted,
