Just recently I get this dialog box when using File/Open pulldown. I can use the Open From Disk button to get to the local server our files are stored. Does anyone know how this default changed or how to change it back?
Thanks!
Revu> Preference> Interface> File Access Tab> check the box that says "Open and save files to DMS from toolbar only" Should fix the issue
@Kenneth W.
Open Revu
Click on the Revu item in the menu bar
Click on Preferences in the dropdown menu - this will bring up the Preferences panel
In the list on the left side, click on Interface - this will change the main panel on the right to show three tabs, File Access, Markups List, and Layers
Click on the File Access tab if needed - in the list in the lower portion you should see an entry with DMS Type = SharePoint and the Location will equal the Site Address in the image you shared.
Select that entry and then click on the X icon near the bottom (above the Import and Export buttons). You will see a confirmation prompt 'Are you sure you want to delete the Document Management System for SharePoint at '<name of SharePoint folder probably starting with PMO…>'.
Click Yes to delete the entry.
Click No to keep the entry.
@Michael Watson
So close - I highlighted the DMS type but the X icon was not available (greyed out).
I remember now that last week I used Open in Revu for a PDF in SharePoint using the three dot drop menu. Did that reset the DMS type? Our organization is migrating all documents to SharePoint so I need to know what implications that has for people who use Bluebeam as their primary PDF app.
@Doug McLean - that did the trick. Thanks and nice to see you outside of MCR.
just call me Roy Kent…lol (you'd have to watch Ted Lasso to get the reference) Glad to have helped
