Has anyone had Bluebeam stop refreshing the view while working on documents?
This has become a real issue for me. I often have several single sheet PDFs open while reviewing plans sets. I do this so I can cross reference from one sheet to the other to verify all sheet are consistent. I need to be able to look at multiple sheets at the same time for comparison.
Lately Bluebeam has started randomly stopping refreshing the view. The page goes blank as if it's just white paper with nothing on it. I can zoom in and out, navigate around the page, but there's no linework showing, no comments showing. Thankfully I can save my work even after it goes blank. When this happens it happens to every one of the individual PDFs that I have open. The only way to resolve it seems to be to save all work, completely exit bluebeam, and then individually open all of the PDFs again. Sometimes it will lock up again before I can even get all of my PDFs reopened. It seems to be getting worse.
My IT has re-installed Bluebeam and done some other troubleshooting with drivers etc.
My computer is the following:
- Processor: AMD Ryzen 7 PRO 8840U
- Graphics Card: Radeon 780M Graphics 3.30 GHz (931 MB)
- Installed RAM: 32.0 GB (30.7 GB usable)
- System Type: 64-bit, x64
- Storage: 954 GB (226 GB used)
I use Bluebeam a lot. This issue is not consistent, but when it does happen it becomes almost useless for long periods of time. I can't seem to identify typical situations which sets off the issue.
