Delete shortcut

I am running on version 21.5, and the ctrl+shift+D shortcut no longer works. When I googled it (can I still say that when I use AI?) the response said that feature was removed in version 21. However, its still there on the dropdown menu under Document / Delete Pages. My suggestion is to update the dropdown menu in lieu of keeping a non-functioning shortcut.

I am using a later version than the one you mentioned but can confirmed this feature still exists. You might check that the shortcut ctrl+shift+D hasn't been reassigned via the menu Revu > Keyboard Shortcuts [under the commands tab]. Also, note that if the file you have open and active has only one page, this command is not available.

There might be a system shortcut or graphics driver shortcut gettign in the way, best guess.
