Just did the update this morning. Everything went well except I no longer have the Revu icon. It is just looks like a piece of paper with the right, top corner bent over. Is this the new icon or did something not load correctly?
Are you looking to have a shortcut pinned to your taskbar @Tami R? Seems as if I've had to add that back in when I update the program. My pin shows up as the "round R" logo:
I establish this setting by typing "Revu" in the search box at the bottom of my screen, right clicking on the "Bluebeam Revu 21 App" at the top, and then by selecting "pin to Taskbar" (mine shows unpin as it's already there):
Hope this helps. 😎
Thanks. I had already had it pinned but unpinned and re-pinned and all is good now. Such an easy fix. Not sure why I didn't just do that in the first place.
I'm assuming the PDFs in your File explorer no longer show a Bluebeam log but a default PDF?
If so, it's likely your default apps changed from Bluebeam Revu back to a Microsoft version.
You can change that: Change Default Apps in Windows - Microsoft Support pick Bluebeam Revu in the default apps Settings. If you get taken to a new window to pick the Revu.exe file option.
